One Purpose and Richa Bajimaya Memorial Foundation Partner for Free Cancer Screening Camp

Kathmandu, Nepal – July 6, 2024 – One Purpose, in collaboration with the Richa Bajimaya Memorial Foundation, successfully organized a free cervical and breast cancer awareness and screening camp on July 6, 2024 at Budhanilkantha Secondary School, Budhanilkantha. The camp was supported by the National Cancer Hospital and Research Center, Nepal Cancer Support Group, Lions Club of Kathmandu United Center, Lions Club of Kathmandu United Youth, and Lions Club of Kathmandu United Stars. Over 130 participants benefited from the camp, receiving valuable counseling from doctors and cancer survivors. The sessions covered crucial information on cervical and breast cancer, including symptoms and preventive measures. Additionally, participants received screenings for both cancers. The Chairperson of One Purpose Anu Maharjan and the President of Richa Bajimaya Memorial Foundation Dr. Deepak Shrestha both concluded the program exchanging certificates expressing gratitude for a successful program and committed to collaborating in the future for more such healthcare initiatives.
